Publications
The Western Society of Criminology (WSC) supports two published media: the Western Criminology Review, an online, peer-reviewed journal; and the Western Criminologist, a newsletter.
Western Criminology Review
Launched in 1996 by Dr. Pat Jackson, this online, peer-review journal has rapidly gained an excellent reputation in the fields of criminology and criminal justice. Published semi-annually (sometimes more if there are additional special issues in a given year), this journal presents important research and scholarly debate on issues relevant to the field. Original articles are published in both a web-based (.htm) and Abobe Portable Document Format (.pdf).
The WCR is currently abstracted by EBSCO, Criminal Justice Abstracts, Hein On-line and Google Scholar.

The WCR is currently searching for a new editor or new co-editors. Download the search information here.
The Western Criminologist
This newsletter highlights important events and disseminates information among the membership. Additionally, it presents feature articles and summaries of conference highlights. An archive of past issues in either Adobe Portable Document Format (.pdf) or web-based (.htm) format is available for issues since Spring 1996 by pressing on the links below.
